Inorder to celebrate my 40th Birthday, it was only right that we run at least my age in Kms. So Horsham Round it was. Having held the FKT a few years back it was time to reclaim it.
Adam and I had a window between school drop off and pick up to complete the Horsham Round. We arrived in Horsham ready to go at 10am. Perfect conditions, dry under foot, cool air, and not too much sun. We chose to carry everything we needed and set off too fast as always but managed to maintain a steady pace throughout.
Navigation on my watch was great, keeping us on the right track. Although the GPS file on the site had us looking for a non existent path for a while which resulted in us taking a longer detour to get back on track.
Overall, it was a great trip, finished off with a trip to the pub and made it back for school pick up with 10mins to spare 👍
