Started a little late in the day and it got hot fast. Felt like complete crap during the first 20 minutes or so and thought about quitting but quickly convinced myself that was idiotic. After having a gel and sipping on some water, I started come to life. The gusts of wind at the top of the peaks were life savers along with the small rivers in route. Once I started decending at mile 4ish after tagging Black dome, the legs were totally firing! The last 10 minutes were scary, I was dogging it and holding on for dear life. I took one stumble which I smoothly rolled up to my feet from. Man, I left it out there, totally smashed, wewwwie!!!!
This route will go under 2 hours one day, can't wait to see that!
