I'm trying to figure out why this route feels so hard -- it's only ~16 miles with 3,000ft of gain. But having been on this course twice now, somehow I am a lot slower than it seems like the terrain would warrant... blame it one sand? or the water? May have to go back for a third time to go for the sub 4!
