I had had my eyes on Powell Point ever since I first learned about the route's existence but my available time and appealing conditions never coincided. I finally was able to find an evening with decent conditions and went for it, knowing that the men's ascent time was speedy and likely out of my reach. I ended up taking almost 50% longer than Mike while establishing the first women's ascent time at 1:29:xx, and enjoyed a beautiful sunset at Powell Point en route to taking home the overall roundtrip FKT.
