Ran the Wild Oak Trail solo counterclockwise using the 2016 slightly lengthened route. Carried 2 liters of water and picked up an additional liter at the only reliable water source --at the North River at mile 10 using iodine to sterilize it. Nice temps (40s and 50s) so water was not an issue. Did a little extra mileage when trying to find the trail at the road crossing for the 2016 revamped part of the route as the sign was subtle in pointing the way and in the other direction (looking back from the road crossing) there is an old sign that says the Wild Oak Trail is 0.4 miles away in the direction I came instead of confirming that I was on the new trail. The trail blazes are correct but not all signs appear to have been updated. Beautiful landscape, some brutal hills, especially on the day's third climb. For the verification URL, still trying to get tech support to know how to get a link to this in Runkeeper. Everything is public but the links that I can see do not work on export.
