FKT: Ted Erkkila, Michele Zandoná - Hook Mountain Full Loop (NY) - 2020-10-04

Michele and I have had our eye on the Hook Mountain Loop all summer, but our first attempt was impaired by an extremely hot and humid day and our second was cut short by a fall. Today we went out with a good time schedule, cool weather, and the urgency of knowing that the impending layer of leaves on the - at times - technical trail might delay another fast attempt until spring. The only issue we had all day was Michele's phone taking 300+ photos/videos from her vest during the run and crashing from lack of storage as we tried to take a photo at the turnaround! In the end we took 22 minutes off our first attempt and will be able stop and enjoy the views on our next visit (for a change). - Michele & Ted
