This was a super challenging and very rewarding course. Consistent vertical gain/loss was punishing but rewarding with each view from the many summits around Pocatello. I find myself looking at the route everyday with gratitude that I had the ability to complete the course. I learned a lot lessons and am grateful for the massive amount of support from my family and the community!

Advice for those who attempt it in the future- don’t be afraid to ask for the communities help, train on all surfaces- there is surprising amount of road and off trail sections, and start as early as you can, there is minimal shade along the whole route.
