In search of an Adventure - I decided to try this route with just one day of tapering. On a very hot autumn day (27 degrees celcius) I managed a good pace through the beautiful landscape. The only living beeings on the trail were 1000 of flies that stayed with me until km 65 when exiting the wine yards. After Gföhl the gpx track and the official trail were quite a bit off. Therefore I found myself lost a couple of times. After scrambling through the ever same looking woods I found my way back and managed to finish.
