I'd set out with the ambition to go close to 90 mins and shave a few minutes off my clubmate's time. I was testing out new trainers and it turned out that the nylon plate meant I could push the pace a lot more so I ended up going sub 85 mins. I took the 'uphill' option of starting in Brixton and caught first train down to there. I reckon the route could be slightly more efficient but was pleased with my nav on the city streets that I haven't run on for many years.
