What a great tour on an great island :-)
By planing holidays on Jersey and Guernsey the idea grew up for a run-around. After a short track check Guernsey round was selectet and the GPS Watch prepared.
The weather conditions were quit good for a long distance run (in my opinion: less than 15 degrees, cloudy and a little bit of rain for cooling down) So i started at the roundabout at St. Peter Port Harbour and took the clockwise direction. The first half is a rearly beautifull tour up and down the cliff coast with a lot of different viewpoints on the top or on the beach.
After leaving the cliff path i had a break with carrot and coffee. No other FKT has to be accepted without having a carrot cake :-)
For me as a trail runner the second half was much harder. Nearly flat and many parts along the streets. But running along the tide coast was a great experience. At the end i was rearly lucky to reach the roundabout at St. Peter Port Harbour again.
