FKT: Tim Bradley - Rutland Water & Hambleton Peninsula Loop (United Kingdom) - 2021-02-13

Went anti-clockwise from Barnsdale.

In no way were the conditions ideal, 80%of the trails were covered in snow and ice and the significant wind put the the ‘feels like’ temperature down to -9degrees.

I had the help from a friend on a bike to support and carry water but I quickly lost him as he had no grip whatsoever and could not ride so there went my water source.

It’s a beautiful loop and a real challenge. I would love to come back in the Springtime for another go.
