The shepherd's trail.
A route I have never completely run. After many times running the first half I thought I would give the whole route a go.
Weather was overcast with a touch of rain in the air and a slight wind. Perfect for a run.
Starting off with carisbrooke castle in the background I begun the first climb.
The first 4 miles are well signposted, but approaching the second half I made my first mistake. A wrong turn had me having to backtrack slightly and along with this a few more times I had to stop to check my map.
Approaching the end and the cliff path was closed so I went right upto the sign and stopped my watch there.
All in all an enjoyable route.
