Started the day on 8/5/23 at 5:15 AM at the bear canyon trail head located in Baldy village. I moved up the Baldy Village trail at a steady pace grinding out the long 6,000 ft climb. I fueled and stuck to the usual and got to west baldy in about two and a half hours. after the short jaunt up west baldy i headed for Mt baldy summit, where there was superising amount of people there so early. fueled up and headed towards Mt Harwood. after Harwood it was time to head down the devils backbone to the notch. I got to the notch resteraunt and quickly grabbed a coke (4$) from the bar and grabbed some water from the fountain. Now it is time for the three T's. easily grabbed Thunder mountain and quickly started the climb towards Telegraph peak. Telegraph is a notoriously tough mountain, gaurded by steep, technical terrain on both sides, but i got it done swiftly. Timber was routine as i've done it dozens of times at this point. At this point the heat was starting to set in. the forecast high at baldy village was 96 that day. I took quick inventory of my water and fuel. feeling good i began the ascent up Cucamonga peak. as i neared the summit, i began to run low on water so decided to move as quickly as possible to grab Etiwanda peak. At the Etiwada summit, i officaly ran out of water with about 5 miles back down to Icehouse saddle and up to Kelly camp. KELLY CAMP IS THE ONLY WATER RESUPPLY SOUTH OF THE BALDY NOTCH ON THIS ROUTE BEFORE HEADING DOWN ICEHOUSE CANYON. IT IS NOT RELIABLE. Be sure to do your research here. I knew that the small spring was running from some friends who were up there a week prior. It is a small pipe coming out of the ground located in a ravine to the west of the main camping area (look for green sedge field). After being out of water for some time i was pretty dehydrated so spent some time drinking and filling all my bottles. after getting my head straight i started towards Ontario peak. light work. Last but not least was Bighorn, with its crappy trail and steep final climb my legs were screaming at the top. But the mental weight of the 10 peaks was off my shoulders and now i could cruise the descent. I stopped at alder spring in Icehouse canyon on the way down to grab some more water and got down really easily, besides the quads talking to me. At Icehouse its about a 2 mile road run down the baldy road back to the village. Here i was greeted by my car which I've never been so happy to see. Got all my nasty gear off and headed straight to the baldy lodge to slam down 3 cokes. epic day, epic route, i absolutely love these mountains!  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 5 STARS
