Perfect weather conditions today: cool temperature, a nice breeze, and some sunshine - definitely more favorable than Andy Wacker's initial mark in the snow. Initially, I was just going to scout out the trail for an FKT attempt next week, but about a mile in I was feeling good and saw that I was on pace so I went for it. The relaxed start probably helped me out. The views up there are pretty great and the singletrack is real fun.
