This was my second attempt. This time I started and ended at the right spots. I didn’t add any extra. This helped me better my time by a little bit.
My pace was very even, which was the goal. I used this as my last long run before a marathon and pacing was the emphasis. I also practiced stopping to drink, some that I think will be beneficial in a marathon attempt if it is warm.
The weather was nice. Not too cold or hot. It helps that in the morning this trail is shaded almost all of the way.
I did see a coyote right before the start. Fun way to begin the run!
