This FKT was just a quick fun run with the dog just to get things started. Decided to do it after a lazy Saturday doing some mild yard work. We did well although we stopped at the creek crossings for Finn to get some water, and cool off. The horses had done a number of some sections of the trail but overall its an easy trail to run with a couple of miles even dipping into the sub 7 min/mile range. I took a wrong turn for only 300 ft or so but it caused me not get the Strava segment. No big deal, I look forward to running it again sometime, preferably without the ticks. I ran this solo and unsupported.
