Wilsons Promontory Northern Circuit (Anticlockwise) - Completed in early May 2026, with the track significantly more overgrown compared to our initial attempt in October 2023. Outside of fire trail and beach sections, most of the route required bush bashing, with shrubs now mostly head height and the track often hard to follow. Conditions were very dry—Lower Barry Creek was the only reliable water source, with Chinaman Swamp completely dry (in 2023 required chest deep wading) and Miranda creek only 1.5m wide. We were not able to refill water until 11hr+ in (at Lower Barry Creek Campsite), and additionally Wayyln got stung by bee.
