Kevin Boyle and I completed this FKT on 12/26/21, heading east. We started at the intersection of W Honey Creek Pkwy and N 72nd St in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Our exact starting point was parallel to the bridge. We didn't take any water or nutrition with us and our only stops were to wait for some cars at intersections here and there throughout the route. We wrote down detailed GPS directions on a piece of paper and carried this with us the entire way. I highly recommend bringing directions, as navigating gets a little challenging the closer you get to downtown Milwaukee. Overall, we felt great and beat our goal time. We finished the route at the intersection of E Clybourn St and N Harbor Dr in Milwaukee, right in front of Discovery World. Kevin Boyle has biked alongside me and crewed me for most of my FKT attempts, so it was awesome to see him make his FKT debut today. We had a great time and encourage more people to do this route!
