long... very very very long. Set off on Friday eve so that the finish time was more likely to be reasonable but it meant being awake for more hours. First 150k were okay ish. Through night 2 the sleep deprivation became overwhelming until i was forced to take a 1hr sleep. This worked and i was able to keep knocking off km without thinking too much about how many were left. Never considered giving up but there were many moments during the night where i considered how possible it was without a significant amount of sleep.
I have my parents as crew with a campervan who could refuel me at 15km intervals or so.
Terrain is largely flat and largely pavemented but there is a significant portion around the midlands which is a direct A road whereby if you run during the day you will have to be very road safe and often give way to cars. This slowed me down quite a bit in the middle section.
My wife ran the first 6km with me from pic circus. I then ran to watford alone and unsupplied before my first meet up with my parents.
