Sallandse Zandloper from Holten to Olst. Took a few wrong turns, but without too much time loss. First ~10km over the Sallandse Heuvelrug. This part has hills and a mixture of sand roads and single tracks. This part felt nice despite rain, hail, and wind. It was not too cold so a short sleeve was fine. Vision through glasses got a bit messed up at times, but that didn’t change the momentum. Next 33km was a mixture of roads, sand paths, no paths, wetlands, high grass, thick bushes, cows, breeding swans. This, combined with overall a strong headwind, made this part feel less consistent, but still ok. Only towards the end I realized that sub3 could be realistic when things were planned slightly better, but really pleased with the time and overall effort. Will come back one day to go sub3.
