Beautiful day escaping the heat. I saw 2 bears and some people camping at Middle Chain Lake. I ran up to the ridge below Gale, then scrambled the ridge to Redtop, and ran the rest of the way on the road that returns you to the trailhead. Tons of room for improvement here as I am not the fastest runner. I enjoy the scrambling but the combo of the two makes a fun outing.
