I've made a TransCrimeanMountains route in Self-Supported format. It was totally beautiful and very steep. Because it's the first time anyone made this route (someone could do it before, but there is no information about that), I'll make a full report about all water sources, stores, navigation and etc. As I wrote before, route covers most of the iconic trails and places of Crimean Mountains. On my way I'd used 4 stores and many water sources (about 25). Other food I took from the start. My bag was about 5 kg at the start with 1 liter of water. No one ran with me, I know that in Self-Supported format it is prohibited. 1,5 hour later me other two guys started this route in Supported format. They didn't catch me, one of them drop his attempt at 40th km, other one finished at about 72 hours (14 hours later me). And for sure I didn't use their support. A little bit later I'll make small IGTV film about my trip but it will be in Russian. I'll share link. Difficult things was hot weather first day than showers second day then hot weather again. But a lot of water sources solves this problem. I have a lot of questions from people who want's to do this route and I'll be happy to share full report in route description if it possible to update it.
