Martyr Rd to Summit:

This is a steep trail run / Hike.

Starting from Martyr rd Warburton, you head up hill until you reach the paved road, cross the road and follow the signs onto a gravel road this section is possible to run.

You will reach the summit in 3.5km from memory but could be wrong.

Hit the summit when you see the sign then turn around and come back down.

This is a hard slog to the top with some huge gumtree forest, lyre birds and other wildlife plus amazing views of the valley below.

This Run took me 3hrs 13mins, Elapsed time, Definitely no a fast time but this was my first FKT entry so just wanted to see how it all works.

Hey Michael, fyr - the Mt Donna Buang summit and descent forms part of the Warburton Trail Fest.
Although these may not be official FKT times, the race produces chipped times from at 2018.
