The Pathfinder Long Distance Walk is a 46 mile / 73 km circular route in Cambridgeshire that links the former RAF airfields of Wyton, Warboys, Oakington and Graveley that were used by the Pathfinder Force during World War II, making it both a scenic and historical journey.
Following quiet lanes, farmland, fenland, and riverside paths, it offers wide open landscapes typical of the region, along with charming villages and peaceful rural stretches.
Waymarks featuring a symbol of a Mosquito aircraft - which lead Pathfinder missions from these RAF bases - guide you between the old airfield sites, giving the route a strong sense of heritage as well as a rewarding long-distance challenge.
