This Project "Through pelgrimswegen to Scherpenheuvel’ is trying to reignite the ancient pilgrimage ways to the Cathedral of Scherpenheuvel.
The Route Described here will take you from Ninde (Tremelo) from the hometown of Father Damien all the way to Scherpenheuvel. Before heading out to Molokai Father Damien went on foot to Scherpenheuvel where he said goodbye to his mother and stepsister. The Route starts at the father Damien museum (which was his birthhome) and takes you through silent and magnificent roads all the way to Scherpenheuvel.
