Description

This route is a loop that travels through the most beautiful high-country sections of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, starting and ending at Road's End in Kings Canyon. It is sometimes taken as alternative to the JMT, and much of its distance travels along some of the prettiest sections of the JMT. It was first designed and completed as a cohesive route in 2013 by Amy and James of doingmiles.com, and since then many people have hiked the route. As far as I can see, there have been no attempts at a Fastest Know Time (as of June 2024).

I’m attempting the northern portion of this, starting 6/22. Hoping to beat Luke’s time and set the first known time for women!

I will attempt the standard route starting at approx 2pm on Friday Sept 5! I'll be starting from kings canyon heading north via copper creek trail to complete the loop.
