Christopher Ferrier and Chad Bruce attempted this route on 8/22/2020. We took a wrong turn in the dark at Saddle Junction ultimately spoiling our chances for a submission.

This route is part of the PCT Partners Series, 5 FKT routes that represent common race distances: 26.2M, 50k, 50M, 100k, and 100M. These routes link up end to end to cover around 270 miles of the PCT from Idyllwild to Agua Dulce, about 10% of the entire trail. The routes are point to point, each starting and ending at main road crossings, making them ideal for weekend car shuttle projects with a partner, and if we might add, a great way to discover the stretch of PCT nearest Los Angeles, CA.

The Partners Series consists of these routes:

Pacific Crest Trail - Angeles National Forest (CA) Variant: Hwy 2 Vincent Gap to Hwy 2 Three Points [26.2M]

Pacific Crest Trail: Devil's Slide TH to Hwy 10 (CA) [50k]

Pacific Crest Trail - Hwy 18 to Hwy 10 (CA) [50M]

Pacific Crest Trail - Angeles National Forest (CA) Variant: Hwy 2 Hwy 2 Three Points to Bouquet Canyon [100k]

Pacific Crest Trail - Hwy 18 to Hwy 2 Vincent Gap (CA) [100M]

The creators of the Partners Series would be happy to engage with you on your questions and feedback. Chad Bruce is easy to find and connect with on several social media channels. Christopher Ferrier limits his social media habits to Strava. @ing Christopher in a comment on Strava is a fine way to get started. You can also email Christopher at christopher34@gmail.com, however this inbox is monitored less frequent than Strava.

Note: We realize many thousands of people have gone before us on the PCT. If you know of faster times preceding ours, please help us all set the record straight,

Thanks! - Christopher Ferrier and Chad Bruce
