Description

A loop of the historic, iconic reservoirs in the heart of the Peak District.

The Ladybower, Derwent and Howden reservoirs are steeped in history, from their controversial drowning of villages for their creation to their use as the training location for the Dambusters. The route can be started from anywhere on the loop and run in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. Be mindful of the road sections as these are busy roads. Off of the road sections there is a clear and obvious trail the whole way around the reservoirs, making for a fun outing.
