Was excited to explore this area more and had limited time so decided I needed to go kind of quick. Kept it honest the first 4.3 and last 4.3 on the trail. Off trail section up to the lake had more downed trees and side alder than expected and kind of checked out for a bit. Should have followed someone else’s tracks. Post lake I went a slight slower way up on the rocks but on the way down I found a better way. So pretty up high with the larches peaking and you could see many mountain ridges.
