Ran Evan's Notch Loop solo, unsupported on Saturday, August 20th. I had recently gotten over being sick, but I had beautiful weather so I decided to go for it! It was a challenging loop with a ton of elevation gain in the first half, but I was definitely rewarded for my efforts with amazing views looking towards the Whites and further into Maine. It was hot though! I refilled my water from a stream going down East Royce, and finished drenched in sweat. I carried all my food throughout.
