Started at the Loop around 6 am. Unfortunately, I was socked in by clouds for the entire ridge traverse, so there weren't many views, which is usually a highlight of this route. This, along with a significant amount of snow still present up high, led to a couple of route-finding mistakes along the ridge, as I couldn't see the correct lines to avoid getting cliffed out in certain sections. I also should have brought microspikes or an ice axe to make the Ahern drift crossing easier. With all those mistakes added up, I think I could definitely go under 5 hours on this loop, and a more fit mountain athlete could easily go much faster, perhaps under 4 hours.
