This mountain ascent was spectatular. Given no woman has the FKT currently, my goal was sub 46 to the top which happened to be the CR on Strava. I ascended in 40:18 which I was STOKED about, I didn't really think I was on pace the entire time. There were no additional ropes to the true summit mentioned here, not sure what he did but scaling the cliffside without assistance was too scary for me, even as a rock climber. Unfortunately, when I uploaded my run after the fact it showed that my GPS did not load for the first mile or so. The mileage and elevation are off, but you can see on the map that I started and ended at the correct spots and my total time to get there. Whether this FKT is approved officially or not, I am beyond proud to be the first female FKT on this route.
The trail was stunning and was up the entire time. My kind of running. Not super technical until the top where your ascending with ropes up to the summit. Great route, would do again no question. View at the top was breathtaking, given there was no female time to beat once I got to the top I spent at least 5 minutes just taking pictures, sitting and enjoying the view.
