FKT: Alecia Williams - Waterton Triple Crown (AB, Canada) - 2021-06-27

Started at 6:04am on Sunday June 27that the Akamina Trailhead. Megan Rainford ran the first leg with me and we were greeted by a calm ridgetop on Akamina Ridge. Some snow coming off the end of the ridge was easy to navigate through. Picked up snacks and water at Cameron lake and headed onto Carthew-Alderson trail. Mainly snow-free until in between Carthew lakes and Alderson lake. Refilled water with a filter at the lowest Carthew lake.  Trail in great shape thanks to the Waterton trail crew.  Lake crossing was suprisingly calm and warm via canoe. Final trail up to Crypt was impressively hot and busy for June, no snow except for the final 100m before the lake.
