I completed the Grande Anello dei Monti Sibillini in Unsupported mode. This meant carrying everything I needed, including food, from the start. I carefully followed all FKT rules and National Park regulations, especially regarding wild camping. Starting from Visso, I chose the official clockwise route. On the first day, I covered 50 km, navigating well-marked paths with some minor detours, and camped near Garulla, ensuring I stayed within designated areas. The second day was more challenging due to fatigue from the previous day and rising temperatures. The terrain was demanding, with steep mule tracks and rocky paths, but I managed to complete another 40 km, stopping at Forca di Presta for the night. On the final day, I enjoyed breathtaking open landscapes, covering the last 30 km. Despite a few challenges like finding water and brief rain showers, I returned to Visso, having fully adhered to all regulations and completed the loop successfully. The diverse terrain and changing conditions made it a rewarding and demanding adventure.
