On August 3rd, 2020 ran up to the summit of Mt. Thielsen and back in 1:34:59, setting a new car-car FKT.
My ascent time was 1:00:24, just missing the mark Max King set in 2015. Strava say's my ascent time was faster than Max's but it was surely not. That's part of the value of this site!
I started and finished at the large Trailhead/info sign, with the small map on it just across from the toilet. I took my ascent time watch split just after I touched the survey marker on the summit rock. It was great weather for a fast time with cool morning temps, but couldn't quite squeeze it out on the up.
Max King, I will be back.
