This felt really good! This was my first FKT attempt ever and I'm glad it was on the Skyline Trail because I run it often. I felt really strong up until the last two miles. By the end, my legs felt like jello and I was getting tired. I tripped and fell about 4 times which is not surprising on this trail. I wore a running vest with 2 water bottles and had 3 gels. I ended up going out on Skyline Trail North and coming back on Skyline Trail South and I was running alone.
