first time doing Long's after living in CO for 6 years! Storms and lightning on the drive up which freaked me out a bit and left a thin layer of some snow and ice on the top part of the Keyhole route. Felt okay until the keyhole then was blasted by cold wind after crossing through the keyhole. Made it up to the summit after tiptoeing a bit around the icy sections, especially the Homestretch, and then u-turned and ran back to the car! Solo day carrying all of my food and water.
