FKT: Allison Mercer, Ben Mercer - Bartram Trail (NC, GA) - 2020-08-29

After making 3 wrong turns just to get on the highway, we knew it was going to be an interesting day.  It's a good thing the trail was much better marked.  We started at the GA/NC border in the pouring rain and ended at the GA/SC border in the scorching heat (Georgia summer in a nutshell) passing thru the second highest peak in Georgia, Rabun Bald, and navigating thru lots of down trees, overgrown trails and mud to our ankles!  Along the way were several beautiful vistas and waterfalls to make this adventure so breathtaking.
