Has been on my bucket list for years, as it's a continuous trail that's been begging to be run. I believe it's been run before, but no one has recorded or submitted an FKT.
There is debate on the end point, as wikipedia states that the trail is 47 miles long and finishes at Rt. 47 in Hadley. The most recent guidebook states the current distance of 40 miles, and intent to extend an additional 7 miles in the future. However, the trail signs along the way give mileage to the Notch VC (that we used for the finish), and the orange blazes marking the trail finish here also. There's no indication that the additional 7 miles of the route have been finalized and added. Therefore, we used the existing (as marked and signed) course as from Wendell SF to the Notch VC.
