I tried to squeeze in this route on my visit home and this day was the only day without rain. It was a fun day out and the weather was not too bad. Some mud, fallen trees and head winds on the Bolinas ridge. It might not have been perfect conditions but I am happy with the time! My dad cycled with me on some sections that were bike friendly and I got two bottles dropped at the Bolinas Fairfax road and Muir Woods. I tried to take it a bit easer for the first 30 km and have more energy for the last sections. I intended on running the Dipsea down from Cardiac put ended up on Deer park fire road, besides this a few other wrong turns but was able to correct quickly.
