Ran the same route as was done before following the Dipsea up to Steep Ravine and running to the top via West Point Inn. I got to Pantoll faster than expected and was able to keep up a good pace on the flatter section to West Point and onwards to East Peak. The downhill was more challenging as I am not used to such long downhills! I went early in the morning so did not see many people so passing on the single track was not an issue. I carried two 150 ml flasks of energy drink and a gel, this worked well and I drank mostly on the way up.
