Started/finished at the Spruceton Lot, ran up the road to do the loop CCW. We scoped out the loop last week and had a beautiful but cold day and the trail was mostly dry. So we were a bit surprised when we showed up today and there was snow on the mountains. But we went for it anyway and luckily succeeded! There was a dusting of snow down low and up to an inch as we got higher in elevation. The snow didn’t seem to slow us down too much, the only place I felt we had to put on the brakes was the downhill as to not slip and fall.
