FKT: Andrea Tyrrell - Abrams Falls - 2024-08-31

Headed out on the trail unsupported before the humidity and heat of the day with plenty of water. Enjoyed the large climbs and descents on the Little Bottoms Trail. Some creek crossings and dense forests can feel a bit intimidating solo for 10+ miles. Worthwhile for the overlooks and waterfall views. Walked to the edge of the rocks near the falls for a picture, then turned back to complete the trail by heading back to the campground. Only saw 6 people at the falls and a few near the finish at the Abrams Creek Campground/Copper Rd Trailhead starting/ending point, the rest of the trail can be very desolate. Enjoyable, but challenging 10.2 mile out-and-back.
