I set off from Kidsgrove for my second attempt at the Gritstone Trail on the rainiest August day. I was running on my own till Tegg's Nose where I met my support team of one for a lunch and tea break; he then met me at White Nancy near Bollington to run for a mile or so. I carried on to Lyme Park with a few deer getting in the way of the exit. After missing the train by 2 mins and my support team being otherwise engaged at a swimming lesson I begged a lift home off a friend :)
