Route: Gritstone Trail (United Kingdom)

Route traverses the full length of the Gritstone Trail from North to South. It traverses over the western hills of the Peak District starting at Disley Station, going through Tegg's Nose Country Park and ending at Kidsgrove. There are high sections of the trail that are notable for gritstone scenery and views over the Cheshire Plains. It has 5 major climbs well spread out over the route, and finishes with a 4km stretch alongside the Macclesfield Canal.

The terrain is comprised of complact trail, with some short sections on tarmac. There are many styles and gates along the route.

There is one facility on the route, at Tegg's Nose.

The trail is marked with yellow arrows, with a footprint marking containing the letter G.
