Thought it was silly people had FKT's posted without actually reaching the summit of the route, so decided to do it and submit. Surprised people feel comfortable on haystacks but not this. It was a glorious fall day and I spent the first three miles tripping over roots because I was so intently scanning the moss for Chanterelles. I brought two bottles but finished with both mostly full because it was much cooler than last time I went up. The submit registry is full and needs to be replaced soon. Overall a perfect fall day.
