FKT: Anna Staats - Arlington Loop (VA) - 2021-06-07

Did this as the last hard effort before Grandma's Marathon in two weeks. Started out at Gravelly Point and caught a nice sunrise in the process. Goal was to go out really hard and come home really painful, which seemed to work out. Hottest morning of the year so far (~76 with 80% humidity at the start at 5:30 AM) which made for a brutal last few miles. Had a hydration vest and a gu at mile 8. It's not every day you get to break a Wardian FKT, so I was pretty pumped to do this. Thanks to Mike and Amanda for the motivation and great times to shoot for (I expect both of you to take this back eventually).
