Starting at 8:52am we headed out on the Arm River Track on a clear t-shirt weather day. The track was slow going with a few log and single file suspension bridge crossings over streams. There were many boardwalks where running was much easier and broke up the hard, rooty and muddy trails.
We arrived at Pelion Hut and kept going on Overland Track to Mt Ossa turnoff. Lots of hikers at Mt Ossa turnoff. The views going up, and at, Mt Ossa were amazing. We had the best day for the ascent and lucky to have great weather.
We refilled water at Pelion Hut on the way back down.
This was definitely not the fastest effort but hopefully encourages others to submit their times.
