Conditions (and some conditioning...?) helped shave over a minute and half off the previous attempt; no snow meant veering west / left at the Chalk junction was feasible, and the direct line from the road to the summit was perfectly clear. Eerie seeing the upper half of the mountain burned out.
If anything, a bit too on the brisk side: was caught cooling off in one of the neighbor's sprinklers post-run, and they brought me extra water (S/O to the Casey family).
