I did the ironstone loop. It went fine, I don't run anymore so this was a shock to the system. I did a recon the Sunday before my attempt and realized compared to the notes from the last person, the bush-wacking was at a low due to the winter months. I spontaneously decided to go out. There was a bit of bear poop on certain parts of the trail, however I didn't physically see any. There were also closed parts of trails and tons of fallen trees, so it was extremely difficult to find a rhythm on the second half the course. I ended up doing more of a speed walk up the final hill since it wasn't worth running with my tired legs. tbh I don't know why people think these are fun, there was no time to enjoy the little things I found on the hike.
I did the run by myself with a water bottle in my hand so I didn't get any water anywhere.
